Here’s a monster of a different sort. He’s more of an “accidental” creation, perhaps an experiment or an aberration. In our RPG game he’s on the run! The poor creature only wants to live, but some wizards have sicced hunters (you) after him for his magical energy. You see, he was just a dumb pile of rocks, until a clumsy apprentice accidently dropped a mana stone artifact onto them…

This was absorbed into the volcanic basalt, bringing it to life as a mangled Rock Golem. Do you start a RPG battle and take the artifact back, ending the magma creature’s newfound life?

Or do you take back something that resembles it, messing up the mage’s arcane ritual? Choice and consequence is fun, especially when those wizards turn into rabbits attempting to cast their spell with the volcanic basalt rock item.
