Slime Hand

A large, slimy slapper that grows out of a sticky pool beneath from Might of the Mana Eggs. It mainly used physical damage to attack the enemy (you), unlike the rest of the slimes who could channel mana just like the gumdrop elemental spirits. This hand was intentionally a bit badly drawn, to give it a bit of a slimy look. I don’t think it came out just right but times was of the essence with the contest game… all of the Rpg Maker battlers had to be done in around 15 minutes or less.
This VX monster was inspired by a toy I remembered as a kid. They were in the 25 cent vending machines… little sticky arms you could stretch out and attach to things or grab them with. I had a lot of fun with those!

This small orb-like creature graphic was used for the final boss battle in “Might of the Mana Eggs”. They shifted colors and abilities every turn. More chaos seeds would spawn as the combat went on, either supporting the Glacial Doom Rock or doing damage to the players. Some of these battlers even stole almost all of your RMVX characters’ mana points!
Here’s a little monster I used for the starting dungeon in a contest game. They came in several varieties… regular, warriors, and wizards. Those were mostly just hue changes though. The arms not being directly connected beneath the neck was intentional. These gremlin creatures are meant to look a bit weird! :)
