A quick Q&A on donations

June 22nd, 2009 · Type: Uncategorized

Paypal

We’ve gotten a few messages asking if we have a paypal account to donate to. Thanks for your support, but it’s not necessary. This blog was a way of giving back some of the resources we’ve had made for commercial RPG maker games to the community :)

If you’d like to donate to someone though, PinedaVX would be quite happy to receive one. His website is here. He’s made tons of charactersets for the VX Maker community. Some of which you might already be using in your RPG games.

We can always use more links to parts of this website though!

Graphics

If you’d like to donate Rpg Maker VX resources (or RMXP/custom) to be posted here for everyone to use, awesome! Get in touch with the comments and I’ll send you an email if that’s the case. We aren’t looking for exclusives from anyone else and will happily link your resource website (if you have one) at the same time if we post.

The same thing goes if you’ve made a most excellent post on a blog of yours with a bunch of RM resources, like the science fiction icons by Ocean’s Dream.

Aveyond 3 walkthrough guide

June 9th, 2009 · Type: Uncategorized

Did you know Amaranth games has finished yet another release? Aveyond 3 Lord of Twilight is available from their homepage. Free demo, $10 full version. It’s also a little cheaper on a game portal, but there’s some weird club membership you have to join first.

Here’s some free strategy tips anyone else playing Lord of Twilight might find useful. No spoilers! Be careful reading any comments on this Aveyond 3 walkthrough guide post though, other players might not be so kind.

- Ulaf can be found by going to the school in Thais (southeast part). No need to wander around the entire town looking for him! Amazing how much this town has changed in Aveyond 3.

- Make sure you equip everything and use your companion to level up a bit during the first forest. Those battles and the next few on the mountains when the group changes are very difficult if you’re underleveled… you might even need to restart!

- You can find some goodie caves early on in the game. We found the weapon cave completely by accident, bumping into walls. Don’t look for them unless you only want to play for the story… the Aveyond 3 goodie cave we found had the Osmium Dagger for Mel, which it says is her best weapon in the game.

So - back to the point of this post - has a great free Aveyond 3 walkthrough guide been posted somewhere yet? The two of us playing through it can’t figure out where the ruins are, if anyone just wants to answer that. I hope it’s not somewhere through the dark elf kobold cave, that place kills us almost instantly!

Like the Lord of Twilight? You might also enjoy Deadly Sin!

Eternal Eden game sale discount - 60% off!

May 19th, 2009 · Type: Uncategorized

If you’ve tried Eternal Eden before, but weren’t sure about buying the game… now might be a good time to give it another chance. It’s a commercial game based loosely on the story of the bible, where someone eats forbidden fruit and bad things happen. 20 hours of gameplay, multiple worlds, animated Tankentai BS, lots of puzzles.

Note: We at RMVX gameclover did not make Eternal Eden. We just wanted to help support the developer and hope it inspired the rest of you reading this blog to make your own creations. That little link at the side will be changing to randomly showcase some great games in the near future, both free and other shareware.

This post about Eternal Eden on sale has a second purpose. As you may have noticed, (more…)

Aveyond game - 60% price discount

May 16th, 2009 · Type: Uncategorized

If you had any interest in some of the commercial RMXP game downloads, here’s good news. These were all recently discounted to $6.99 each (no club subscription required). Permanent price change unless the games are removed from portal download services.

Aveyond game
Laxius Force
Aveyond 2
3 Stars of Destiny

None of us have tried 3 stars yet, but it could be a lot of adventure for a low price. The first Aveyond game download had like 50 hours of gameplay in the full version… bit over 10 cents each. Sounds like a great buy bargain to me if I hadn’t already played :)

New post coming soon btw explaining a bit of the downtime, with more good news & Rpg maker stuff. Just need to confirm it first.
