Shin, a regular reader here, has a blog with a few tilesets you can use in Rpg Maker VX games. Mostly autotiles. He’s from Brasil so you’d need to turn your translators to “portuguese” if you want to read the text and comments from people.

Some are conversions of older japanese RM maker artist resources to VX format, others might be custom? (See post comments!) There’s a few there we haven’t seen before either way.

Danc, the guy who made extremely popular free game graphics for towns and villages, has decided to make another set public. His latest contribution is titled “Miraculously Flexible Game Prototyping Graphics for Small Worlds”.

This set of 70 high quality sprites is suitable for World Map graphics, and some work quite well with the default Rpg Maker VX RTP art from Enterbrain. However! They aren’t quite in RMVX ready format just yet. You’ll need to tinker with placing sprites on your sheets yourself, much like any other tileset addon we release here.

This rpg maker tile gate is a bit rough around the edges, but it does the trick. Only works well in Rpg Maker VX and be sure to set passabilities properly. You might also want to add the roof tile to Tile E as well, making it appear over top of your Rpg game player as he passes under the archway. No doors included with the gate, you’ll need to make your own for the ruins dungeon archway.

Today’s picture resource will look strange at first glance. It’s a small group of mineral crystals between two teeth of unknown material.

However, it’s also meant to be used as part of other resources. Here’s the crystal outcropping as it might appear in a RTP cavern. (more…)
