Amaranth Games’ Aveyond is a commercial Rpg Maker game you’ve probably already heard of. It was made in RMXP, and finished as soon as Enterbrain’s english release.

Aveyond has gotten quite a bit of reputation in the Rpg Maker community - mostly undeserved - as being a game that didn’t try to be anything more than a cookie cutter RPG and reused RTP content.

Most people assume the graphics are entirely RTP, however the creator spent thousands on creating original tilesets for Aveyond. The music is also completely original and has won many awards.
